Strawberry frosé recipe

Frosé – it’s an Instagram classic all summer long, but it’s also super easy to make at home. Blitz fresh strawberries with frozen rosé wine for a sweet grown-up slushie, the perfect summer cocktail for  barbecues.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Servings: 4 people

Preparation

  1. Pour the rosé into 2-3 (depending on size) deep ice cube trays (or pour into a deep, lined baking tray) and freeze overnight.

  2. Put the strawberries in a bowl and toss together with the sugar. Cover with clingfilm and place in the fridge overnight.

  3. Blitz the macerated strawberries in a blender until semi-smooth. Add in the frozen rosé and blitz until smooth.

  4. Pour into 4 large wine glasses and serve immediately.
