Nutella Hot Chocolate

Nutella hot chocolate recipe

Looking for a new way to enjoy chocolate spread? Give this Nutella hot chocolate recipe a try. As if you needed an excuse to stock up on Nutella!

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 4 minutes

Servings: 4 people

Preparation

  1. Heat the milk to scalding point (just before it boils) in a medium saucepan.
  2. Remove from the fire or turn off the heat.
  3. Immediately add the chocolate and Nutella and leave to melt for 30 seconds.
  4. Using a whisk, slowly incorporate the chocolate and Nutella to make a smooth milk, continuing to whisk for 1-2 minutes, until the milk is frothy.
  5. Pour into mugs and serve straight away. Top with a swirl of the spray cream and a a handful of marshmallows.
  6. If you like a chocolate-y flavour, use dark chocolate, or milk chocolate for a milder and slightly sweeter result.

  2. For a fun twist on your marshmallows, thread the marshmallows onto two metal skewers.
  3. Grill under a high heat for roughly 1 minute until browned.
  4. Put on top of the cream and dust with the cocoa.
