Ham, broccoli and cheese pasta salad

Make salad exciting for your little ones with some pasta bows and a sweet, homemade honey mustard dressing.

Servings: 2 people


  • 75g pasta bows
  • 1tsp grainy mustard
  • 1tbsp lemon juice
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • 75g thick cut ham or cooked chicken, cut into cubes
  • 40g medium cheddar, cut into small cubes
  • 40g tinned sweetcorn, drained
  • 40g frozen peas
  • 50g small broccoli florets
  • 1tsp runny honey


Cook the pasta bows in a large pan of boiling water according to the packet instructions.

Four minutes before the pasta is cooked, add the broccoli florets. 2 minutes before the pasta is cooked add the peas. Drain and refresh in cold running water.

Tip the cooked pasta, broccoli and peas into a large bowl, add the sweetcorn, cheese and sliced ham or chicken.

Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, grainy mustard and runny honey in a small bowl and season.

Pour over the pasta salad and stir well to combine.

Serve to eat or pack into two small Tupperware boxes and chill until needed.
