Brown Seeded Roll with, Bacon and Tomato

Bagel with cream cheese, bacon and tomato

Enjoy a New York style breakfast bagel in your very own kitchen. Crispy bacon and tomato slices is all you need.

Cook time: 10 minutes

Servings: 2 people


  • 1tsp vegetable oil
  • 4 Tesco Finest Irish Hickory Smoked Back Rashers
  • 1 tomato, thickly sliced
  • 2 Tesco Free From Brown Seeded Rolls
  • 40g extra-light soft cheese
  • pinch black pepper


Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan and add the bacon.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.

Add the tomato slices and cook for 1 minute on each side until slightly charred and softened.
Meanwhile, lightly toast the bagels under the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.

Spread the base of each bagel with the cream cheese and add a sprinkling of black pepper.

Cut the bacon rashers in half and lay over the cream cheese.

Top with the sliced tomato and remaining halves of the bagels.

Serve immediately.
