Since 2014, thanks to your help, we have supported over 20,000 community projects nationwide with €5 million in donations including schools, animal shelters, sports groups, elderly care centres, health organisations and much more. 

 We know there are still thousands of worthy causes out there who could do with a little help from the Tesco Community Fund.

Just some of the good causes you've helped so far

The Midlands Astronomy Club (MAC) Co. Offaly

The Midlands Astronomy Club is the only amateur astronomy club in the country that has its own observing site just outside of Tullamore Co. Offaly. The Tesco Community Fund is helping the club purchase new telescopes so they can continue to attract new members.

St Mary’s Brass & Reed Band, Maynooth Co. Kildare

The members of St. Mary's Brass and Reed Band are using our donations to buy new uniform coats for winter recitals. After all they have a reputation to uphold. They did win best dressed band at a Limerick marching band competition in the 1980s.

Deise Animal Sanctuary, Co. Waterford

The Deise Animal Sanctuary in the heart of Waterford is a safe haven for neglected and mistreated animals. The Tesco Community Fund has helped the animal sanctuary with supplies for the animals including Misty the Goat.

Ballincollig Gymnastics, Co. Cork

The Ballincollig Gymnastics Club has reached great heights to date. However, all of this success requires lots of practice and training. Thanks to the Community Fund and the support of the Ballincollig store, they have just ordered a 12m x12m fully sprung floor from the UK.
