Sweet Potato Shoestring Fries

These sweet potato fries only require three ingredients and offer a delicious alternative to skinny fries. 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 40 minutes

Servings: 4 people


Preheat the oven to gas 2, 150°C, fan 130°C. Using a julienne peeler or a spiralizer, cut the sweet potatoes into long, thin curls or strips (if you don’t have a julienne peeler or a spiralizer use a knife instead).

Coat in the oil and lay out in a single layer on 2 large baking trays and sprinkle with salt.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the fries are crisp and golden. Allow to cool and serve.
