Spicy chicken bites recipe

Try this fun popcorn chicken recipe for a quick midweek dinner that you and the kids will love. Bitesize bits of chicken breast are coated in crushed rice snaps, garlic and paprika before being baked in the oven in this simple recipe.

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4 people

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200°C, 180°C fan. Place the rice snaps in a bowl, crush the cereal a little with your hands. Add 1 tsp of the paprika, the garlic granules and the mild chilli powder and mix well.

  2. Put the flour into a separate small bowl and stir through the remaining paprika. Put the eggs into a third bowl. Grease two baking trays.

  3. Working on one piece of chicken at a time, dip first into the flour, then the egg, then finally the rice snap mix. Place on the prepared baking trays. Once all are prepared, spray with the sunflower oil. Bake for 20 mins, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through.
