Schezuan Pork Noodles

This Schezuan pork noodle recipe is a great addition to your cooking repertoire and deliciously combines Eastern flavours with tender Irish pork. 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Servings: 2 people


Add the wholewheat noodles to a pot of boiling water and simmer until cooked for approximately 10 minutes.

In a bowl combine the soy sauce, minced ginger and five spice to make the marinade.

Add the cooked pork to the bowl and coat with the marinade.

Add olive oil to a pan and add chopped scallions and bok choy. Cook until tender for approximately 3- 5 minutes.

Add the pork mixture to the pan and cook for 5 - 10 minutes over medium heat.

Serve the pork mixture with the noodles.


200g cooked pork*  

1 head bok choy, cut into sections

2 scallions, chopped

100g wholewheat spaghetti

2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil 

1 teaspoon minced ginger

1 teaspoon Chinese five spice
