Sausage and mash

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Servings: 4 people

Preparation

1. Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water for 15mins or until tender. Meanwhile, place the sausages on a grill rack and cook for 10-12mins, turning occasionally until golden on all sides.

2. Put the peas in a boiling pan of water and cook for 5 minutes.

3. Drain the potatoes, return to the pan, then add the butter, milk and mash until smooth and lump free. Season to taste.

4. Divide the potatoes between four plates, top each with 2 sausages and a little gravy. Serve with peas.

  • 1kg Tesco Baby Irish Rooster Potatoes, peeled and diced into 2cm cubes
  • 1 pack Tesco Finest Irish Traditional Pork Sausage 272G
  • 15ml olive oil
  • Tesco Beef Gravy Granules 200G
  • 200g Tesco Garden Peas
  • 15g unsalted butter
  • 60ml milk
  • salt, to taste
