Garlic and Parmesan butter

Easy sauces for steak


1. Beat together the butter, garlic, Parmesan and pepper in a bowl.

2. Spoon onto a sheet of clingfilm and roll into a log shape, securing the ends.

3. Chill until needed, then slice and place on top of cooked steaks to melt over.


100g unsalted butter, softened
3 garlic cloves, crushed
50g Parmesan, finely grated
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
