Avocado Houmous

If you're a fan of houmous or guacamole you'll love this blend of the two ideas in one dip.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 60 minutes

Servings: 6 people

Preparation

Destone avocado.

Simply blend all of the ingredients together in a food processor until smooth.

Put the houmous in a bowl and cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for one hour.

Serve with warm pitta breads and crudités.



Ingredients

1 ripe Hass avocado, diced
1 x 400g/14oz tin chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
½ tsp Tabasco
½tsp ground cumin
Salt, to taste
Pitta breads to serve
