After a season marked by over-indulgence, a month off the booze in January can feel like just what the doctor ordered. It doesn't have to be boring though! Here are some delicious alternatives to alcohol for dry January.

Infused Water

Water may seem boring after all those cocktails we treated ourselves to in December, but serve it with a straw, some fruit, ice and a slice - umbrella optional - and suddenly it becomes much more exciting.

A drink AND at least two portions of your five a day, a smoothie need never be more than moments away if you follow this clever idea. Just pre-prepare the ingredients in bulk, freeze in a bag and pop a portion in the blender each morning for a fresh smoothie on the go.
