Love is in the air as we approach Valentine’s Day. As you put that romantic three course meal together, you’re bound to be thinking about slipping an aphrodisiac food or two into the mix. There is of course a lot of debate over whether or not the most commonly mentioned aphrodisiac foods truly affect people. Arguments for the romance-inducing powers of certain natural foods are often written off as a placebo effect, with any love potion results occurring because the two people involved wished it so. So is it all about positive belief and wishful thinking? If so, that’s fine with us, because we love cooking with great ingredients and we believe that it brings people together, no matter what the scientists say.
