Chocolate Cornflake Cakes

A childhood favourite, these chocolatey cornflake delights are an easy and delicious treat for your little ones to enjoy this easter. 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Servings: 24 people

Preparation

Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup in a small saucepan over a low heat.

Remove and cool for 5 minutes.

Put 24 cupcake cases into muffin tins, or on a baking tray.

Then, stir the cornflakes into the mixture, and spoon into the cupcake cases.

Allow to set and then serve.

200g dark chocolate, broken into small chunks
4tbsp golden syrup
200g cornflakes
If desired, add sprinkles or mini-chocolate eggs to decorate
