Topped Thin Crust Pizza

Thin Crust Pizza with Bacon

A thin crust pizza option that can be served as a starter or a snack and can be topped with ingredients of your choosing.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Servings: 4 people

Preparation

Pre-heat the oven to 250°C.

Start to make the pizza base by following the Tesco pizza base mix packet instructions.

Once well kneaded put to the side.

Heat the butter and oil together in a saute pan over a medium heat and gently fry the onions for 7-8 minutes.

Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.

In a blender, combine the crème fraîche and cottage cheese and puree until smooth.

Transfer to a bowl and reserve to one side.

Roll the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface to fit a 17 inch x 12 inch lined baking sheet.

Arrange the blended mixture on the top, pushing nearly to the edges and then scatter over the cooked onions.

Arrange the pieces of bacon on top and bake in the oven 10-12 minutes until the dough is cooked and the bacon is crispy.

Serve immediately.

75g Tesco Irish Smoked Streaky Rashers, diced

Toppings of your choice: (olives, mushrooms, pineapples, anchovies etc.)
